Well, we are back and I just have to say how wonderful it was!! We actually left a few days early and on our way to Newport we stopped at Magic Mountain!! It was <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">SOO</span> fun! The park was not crowded at all and the longest we had to wait for a ride was maybe 30 minutes! This was the perfect scenario for me, but for Kev?!........not so much, toward the end of the day he was ready to go. After leaving there we headed to Newport beach where we stayed in a nice hotel and ordered a movie in our room. The next day we were able to go to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Dodger</span> Stadium to watch the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Dodgers</span> vs. Giants game.........which Kevin was really excited for. We were one of the few Giants fans <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">amongst</span> the sea of Dodgers fans, which made for some interesting conversation with the people around us. We were just happy to watch the Giants destroy the Dodgers 9 to 0!! After the game we had a nice steak dinner and rested up for our cruise!<br /><br />The next morning we headed to the Long Beach port to get on our GINORMOUS boat. For the next 7 days we partied and had lots of fun. We even met two awesome <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">LDS</span> couples that we got to hang out with! A few of the things we did at our stops:<br /><br /><span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Puerto</span> <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">Vallarta</span>- we did an AWESOME zip line tour. Which I have to say was one of the best things we did!! I LOVED it and would go back just to do it again!!<br /><br />Mazatlan- We shopped and bartered till we dropped and did a very scary <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">para sailing</span> ride! I think I would have felt a bit more safe if we had booked that one through the cruise line....I mean seriously tape on the end of the rope?! What was I thinking?! It was fun though and I'm glad I tried something I might otherwise wouldn't have if I hadn't been pressured into it by someone I won't name (and no it wasn't Kevin).<br /><br /><span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">Cabo</span> San Lucas- We did a beach tour that took us on a boat ride......can I just say how beautiful it was?! I was sad that we didn't get to stay longer there. After that we went to some beach resort where we had lunch and hung out on the beach. We then did some more shopping, but by then it was really just browsing.<br /><br />I really had <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error">SOO</span> much fun am grateful that my husband planned such a wonderful vacation. Here are just a few of the pics we took.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 266px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5466446267677152498" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuYZ_A4Pt87P_Mztny7kgMrq7JfkqBqDltlX_8UD-Co3KrYd5PIOrd1fKaHAvK5DQknan2Emj4mPJOhD9YOu22ysp_VV3OraHtNOIRrrrCGanwjEeZ7FHtdjMPjrC8mimyXzWyUD3OxgOd/s400/012.JPG" /> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 266px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5466447247630576050" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_UB5Wd28elZGHKTqt-orQDh_fNHR4ueSDXbOsFTJV5LcyJot4HClglJOsU4ZovVuSpYhyFsh7mahSifSciBcqLg2R0nkn0s18AO7xssZXQ9ssI0_VFhA1JcPJesC720YEm_PtxHa1JLG3/s400/550.JPG" /><br /><p align="center">Our Stateroom on the boat. It is a cover of Kate bush's version. It was originally written for a movie (which I can't remember the name of) where a man is waiting in the next room waiting to here news of his pregnant wife and unborn child who are in danger of losing their lives. Yes it is a little on the sad side, but I just LOVE it. I just Love Greg Laswell too, I recently discovered his music and I love it. This really isn't an important post, just a little break to listen to a beautiful song.<br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BkWiW1ps7g8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BkWiW1ps7g8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />P.S. You will have to go down to the bottom of my blog to turn off my regular music so it won't conflict with the song.Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-28895748308786422242010-01-29T13:33:00.001-08:002010-01-29T13:44:24.926-08:00HAPPY BIRTHDAY my not so baby GIRL!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrfIODPrTZHszxEGy7yfQ0RtVQOdOlFm-bFuUwXXq1-gWs9jzMeOTLiMnYWbUKkDIZLljZxJKWprHZod_wzKJg3xVlELkj0UK1KVny2dvKSAafhTVKdFnY3qnc5rv_vcpNPvnEtbEiHZ-E/s1600-h/Claire2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 266px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432279179841270802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrfIODPrTZHszxEGy7yfQ0RtVQOdOlFm-bFuUwXXq1-gWs9jzMeOTLiMnYWbUKkDIZLljZxJKWprHZod_wzKJg3xVlELkj0UK1KVny2dvKSAafhTVKdFnY3qnc5rv_vcpNPvnEtbEiHZ-E/s400/Claire2.jpg" /></a><br /><div>Oh how I just LOVE this little girl to pieces!! I can't believe she turns 2 today, time has just flown by and I am having trouble not calling her my baby (because lets face it, she is a full blown toddler)! She is just the sweetest little girl and always knows how to make us smile. She is also <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">fiercely</span> independant and wants to do everything herself and is not satisfied until she has at least tried multiple times..........which she then may or may not except our help. She is always willing to give kisses and hugs and knows how to give a good grumpy face as well, which usually just induces laughter from her and us!! I could go on and on about her wonderful personality and how much we LOVE her!! We are just lucky to call her ours!! HAPPY birthday my not so baby girl!!</div>Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-11221939565503964852009-12-25T15:06:00.000-08:002009-12-25T15:10:45.650-08:00Merry Christmas<span style="color:#ff0000;">MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Today he turned the big 3. 0. What a wonderful husband and father you are to this family. We absolutely LOVE you!<br /><br />Kevin didn't really want to make a big fuss this year about his birthday, especially because it is a big one ;) . But unfortunately, because our family was sick the entire week we weren't able to plan anything anyway. I still hope you know how much we appreciate and love you and everything you do for us!! THANK YOU for being you! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!<br /><br />P.S. I was going to post this with a wonderful picture depicting my handsome husband............but all I could find were silly ones with wonderful crazy faces, and I didn't know if you would appreciate that. So in the interest of keeping your day happy I left the picture out. Seriously, Summer doesn't seem to bother them, but for some reason right when you bring your cool weather and lovely fog and rain my girls get sick. Not just the occasional cold, because that I could handle, but like sick (docotor, ER, and hospital visits) the entire duration of your stays!! So really, could you just go easy on them this year? That would be great, thanks :P !<br /><br />P.S. This week was NOT a good example of how to go easy on them.<br /><br />Sincerly,<br />StephanieStephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-22407472972334878832009-09-27T15:39:00.001-07:002009-09-27T15:49:18.743-07:00I am a blog SLACKER!!I know, I know, I am a major slacker when it comes to posting and updating my personal blog! On a positive note, I do update my photography blog on a fairly regular basis, but I don't ever talk about what is going on in my family. So alas, I promise I will try to be better. I need to catch up on what is going on with us, but that will be my next post :). Until then I just wanted to show everyone my ADORABLE daughter and her ADORABLE "grumpy face". She actually just got up from a nap in this picture so her hair is all over the place, but I still think she is so cute in this picture. Seriously, isn't she a doll?!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZn1Igjh9E26DB3TID47z27IebEsscwXag1KbYZoDmR6FhmX4vU5yVtj6IbJutym__0Zu5eOfpJ-dMfWTcvwv1zdtfBQA0k5Xb6weDkamvSpY2EGiKLr-MNwEeLZi40s_Vr6HSwhR4x-cw/s1600-h/DSC_0127.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386281605551195698" style="WIDTH: 266px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZn1Igjh9E26DB3TID47z27IebEsscwXag1KbYZoDmR6FhmX4vU5yVtj6IbJutym__0Zu5eOfpJ-dMfWTcvwv1zdtfBQA0k5Xb6weDkamvSpY2EGiKLr-MNwEeLZi40s_Vr6HSwhR4x-cw/s400/DSC_0127.jpg" border="0" /></a>Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-76802661484113732122009-05-16T23:30:00.000-07:002009-05-17T00:06:02.472-07:00Yuck!!!So the other day I was sitting on the couch reading a book trying to tune out the kids (no they weren't being bad, they were just being really loud). All three of them were waiting at the window for Daddy to come home from work and laughing <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">hysterically</span> at Logan who was trying to kill a fly by smashing it against the window. <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Apparently</span> he got it, but that's not the gross part. As I am reading, I suddenly hear Logan say, "<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">EEWWW</span> Claire that's disgusting........mom Claire put a fly in her mouth!" I didn't really believe him because he was laughing when he said it, but I decided to take a look just in case. Sure enough I notice that Claire seemed to be munching on something, yup you guessed it, it was the dead fly in her mouth! I immediately run over and pull it out, and what does Claire do but stare at me with her big blue eyes and smile with her scrunched up nose. <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Apparently</span> Claire needed some extra protein for the day.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336678392090913618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 266px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvMb_PUB_wiTQZ_rJtXkQmVF7E-tK4XYWUGLxCKVPO31tumV6GLHLG1k7HKCmQbmzOpNuMPLZoG-ek8gVDwCq1xAhe6joqy6L_SSVRYkK2ao0-6lWtXn1w2zkWDOvjoLgVe_ehLcJXjFV8/s400/Clairefly1.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336678406194403634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiktwADqUH7uYefsdTmf0ju8DpjRBE4N2y23QAYdqHTO09DMFh0cXAjAVJGioQIwK75lj8HG0_47E53ncOqes000vfx0i8wnYoJ-xSA5qyODkCNGpIeeuHsyL5rZeiV_FRCDmnYUcYevp-N/s400/Clairefly3.jpg" border="0" />Seriously I was getting a picture (which I admit is pretty gross) and Claire came back for seconds.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiukJc4RwI-3gEbz1aMCo_-RVGRBg7eTLOWyOdsKVNMy8FNm7vhFrdBAx-PpRH6fln7B5a_iZOrTY2WO1qir3tJcWXiFB3VCQcu-1hnfX5QWJkVSDs9hhBtRCeKhVcXPD-pgzPobkCZncjk/s1600-h/Clairefly2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336678399602800818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 266px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiukJc4RwI-3gEbz1aMCo_-RVGRBg7eTLOWyOdsKVNMy8FNm7vhFrdBAx-PpRH6fln7B5a_iZOrTY2WO1qir3tJcWXiFB3VCQcu-1hnfX5QWJkVSDs9hhBtRCeKhVcXPD-pgzPobkCZncjk/s400/Clairefly2.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div>We love watching our little baby grow up. The good thing is that I haven't blogged in awhile (at least on the family blog) so this is a good excuse to write something down, and it is a relatively easy tag. So I have to write 6 unimportant things that make me happy and then tag 6 other people. And since Kevin is standing right behind me we will do two <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">separate</span> lists one for me and one for him. Here it goes....................<br /><br />Stephanie:<br /><br />6. This actually is important to me so maybe it doesn't count; when Logan and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Madie</span> play nice.<br /><br />5. When my husband so kindly takes the kids in the morning and lets me sleep in. A REAL life saver!!<br /><br />4. The fact that various aspiring authors let me read their works in progress. (and you know who the main contributor is :)!)<br /><br />3. The amazingly soft baby blankets that you get when you have babies. I still use them even after my kids don't.<br /><br />2. American Idol. Love you Simon, lets vote Paula off.<br /><br />1. Cold Dr. Pepper, just the thought of you makes me smile!<br /><br />Kevin:<br /><br />6. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">SpongeBob</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Squarepants</span><br /><br />5. Air Conditioning<br /><br />4. Texas <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Holdem</span><br /><br />3. Mulligans<br /><br />2. The Sci-<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Fi</span>, Military, and or the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Nasa</span> Channel<br /><br />1. Two-ply toilet paper<br /><br />Since we put two lists of 6 unimportant things, we think that they cancel each other out. Therefore we do not need to tag anyone else ;). Wait, on second thought, we want to tag Jared & Kasie West (yes they must be separate lists). We think their lists would be mighty entertaining.Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-986962273417245432009-04-07T17:18:00.000-07:002009-04-07T17:21:15.106-07:00Introducing.......I did it, I put up my very own photography blog!! Not only have I been told several times by several people that I need to update our blog, but I also realized that all three of my children had there birthdays and I did not post one thing about any of them on there special day. To make matters worse, my last post was on January 29th which is Claire's B-Day and who did I make a post about......LOGAN!! Worst mother award goes to ME!! My poor girls have horrible lungs and when they get sick tend to need a lot of help. The worst part about it was that it happened on her Birthday. She went to bed that night not feeling very well and had already had a couple of breathing treatments to help her feel better but unfortunately they didn't help much. A few hours after falling to sleep she woke up having difficulty breathing and when the nebulizer treatment gave almost no relief I took her straight to Valley Children's Hospital. That is where she ended up staying for 4 days with a pneumonia and asthma. We are lucky to have such a wonderful hospital so close, but unfortunate in the fact that we have had to use it several times in the last couple years! She is now home and doing wonderfully. Hopefully we can keep her from going back!</span></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321290299975011154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeQexae3aRTcIASFjldirIkE_CQjyN0Lx33FBTVqg1O-Qe7P4Ig0VeKanI5d7d05mSw2y_GKp_yjhGfcF5blTXd7HcZMzWSesjmTR2JwI2MpVKqTYBQiXQgp2zsCVvMxHnaVFb7rDwnQa6/s400/DSCN0428.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321290290367534450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidaGSNB20IdUQH52WSSWs3A_eKdL89OcecKRzF_6AXNZvSHnJ2KsG2ypJwDEsZnQdpRcioAUzLZ8N3xxOSm6DKd8VFJ8XkHiV6kRJmbilHXeM9_dqFTDGdYebEAULNgeTwBPXBf3PQSX3q/s400/DSCN0418.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321290293701607762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRRmCQ4Wa7Hal-vHaIkCoZAB1CEn2k2QUR0WnOkJT5Txbs5NCnaWlVJnP9GNqslAQCybj6A1FEj_2EqT0A37m2Kn5DIkpEvtvVFe6SzHtvP8Vgz5l2qCgx-9VTbEOnwWOT8DTqiU2AIKIu/s400/DSCN0426.JPG" border="0" /><span style="color:#000000;">This is Madeleine telling us she is thoroughly annoyed with the whole hospital thing.</span></div><div><span style="color:#000000;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000000;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000000;">So there you have it, you are now pretty much caught up. He can say the funniest things...he loves to make people laugh! Well today I went to pick him up from Pre-school and when I walked in his teacher said....." I just have to tell you what Logan said today..." I immediately thought oh no, WHAT DID he say??!! She then proceeded to tell me that Logan told her and the entire class that his mommy was going to have 10 kids. Well when she replied, "Really?" He said, "No, cause then my Grandma would kill herself." (apparently in a very matter of factualy tone) </span></div><div><span style="color:#000000;">I started laughing because just the day before Logan had found a picture of me when I was pregnant with him and we started talking about how many brothers and sisters he wanted. His final decision was 10. Of course Kevin and I laughed because we both know that this will never happen, but my mother (who we live with right now) said, "Not while your in my house....I would die!!" Logan apparently took this as a serious threat. Just goes to show that you need to be careful what you say around kids!! And on a side note his teacher thought it was pretty funny as well. This most recent example is why maybe I should rethink my decision to ignore such resolutions........<br /><br />Here's how it went down:<br /><br />My mom and I were watching one of our favorite Friday daytime shows.....TLC's What Not To Wear. You all should become fans as one day I will turn Kevin in and he will be one of the few men to grace the show as his need is quite obvious. Anyways it was towards the end of the show, which is really the best and most important part when..........<br /><br />Logan: "Mom, Claire's dirty!!"<br /><br />Madie: "Yeah Mom, Claire's DIRTY!!!"<br /><br />Mom: "It's okay guys she's been crawling around, I clean her up later." (no I did not get up or turn to look in the kitchen where they were playing to see what was going on)<br /><br />silence from the children who obviously thought I knew what they were talking about and decided to let it slide.<br /><br />A few minutes later........<br /><br />Logan and Madie: "Mom Claire is REALLY dirty!!"<br /><br />Mom: "It's okay!!"<br /><br />Logan: "No Mom she is messy all over!"<br /><br />Mom: "What do you mean, like on her knees and hands?"<br /><br />Logan: "No....Like she is BLACK all over her face!!"<br /><br />Mom: Finally catches the point and turns around to see what is going on. Through the cracks of the kitchen chairs I see Claire......"Oh my GOODNESS!!"<br /><br />This is what I saw..........<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwWzGqg5973v6opKGJ8fYJctK0oxutT7-DZ62WhjUjiAKhHSg44xXoKvsgJuo0uo-pcg5dk59iE0Fa_eS5uNw9ud9Rsv_OMukJPOQs69zuLOOi_iTH7p4-FZgiFwkUo4dR0pNQFQyBk93F/s1600-h/Inkface.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290512491637041410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 267px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwWzGqg5973v6opKGJ8fYJctK0oxutT7-DZ62WhjUjiAKhHSg44xXoKvsgJuo0uo-pcg5dk59iE0Fa_eS5uNw9ud9Rsv_OMukJPOQs69zuLOOi_iTH7p4-FZgiFwkUo4dR0pNQFQyBk93F/s400/Inkface.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />So it turns out that my children are not over exaggerators like I always assume they are. Claire had found a black marker (luckily a crayola non-toxic marker) and proceeded to chew the tip off like it was some tasty treat. She needs to get her taste buds more refined because I don't see how that tasted good. Case in point.....New Year's Resolutions are a good thing.Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-84454228173497134982009-01-04T22:20:00.000-08:002009-01-05T00:58:32.509-08:00Christmas bells WERE ringing!!<span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="color:#000000;">Oh it was so much fun this</span> <span style="color:#cc0000;"><strong>HOLIDAY Season</strong>. <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="color:#000000;">Spending lots of time with family and watching your kids go</span> <strong>CRAZY</strong> with excitement.....what more could you ask for?! Christmas Eve we went over to my Grandma Schulkins ate some yummy food, read the story of Christ's birth, and did our musical chimes ( which I have very fond memories of doing growing up). The only ones that made it this year were us, my mom, and my brother Jared with his wife Rachel and daughter Morgan. All the other LOSERS....I mean family members were out of town (hehe).</span></span></span><span style="font-family:georgia;"><br /></span><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:180%;color:#cc0000;"><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-family:georgia;color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-size:100%;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287693482304955442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzFaYlDuYj4MJkiXvx9a5v3VtTBzNOitAKZG-r_BWJ-BID7hko9ZKkGUU-N_ovR_MR4O_RnkxCNWXlm_nCaAmBkjrSkdVFV-U4QhtGYtAuLPLijTtfZOuawKIN3qs3Ajex25821RmlhyiC/s400/X-Mas25.jpg" border="0" /></span></span></span></span></span></span><span style="color:#000000;">It was fun to see our kids enjoy one of my favorite traditions. We have sheet music for all the Christmas songs that tells you when to hit the chimes. I usually use this quality time to wrestle with the kids or work on their tv based education by switching "Dora" to "How it's Made" or "Future Weapons". I know what your thinking, strong candidate for father of the year, right? Thought so. Anyway, we broke the mold by writing a letter to Santa. I had to explain to the kids that because santa had to pay extra taxes to fund the various governmental bail-outs this year they could only ask Santa for one special present. Madie immediately (and repeatedly) screamed, "A Baby". My first thought, she has 2000+ babies as already, Lame! Logan thought long and hard and at last firmly requested "A Toy Trash Can". A bit crazy, but at least he hasn't got one already.<br /></span><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><span style="color:#990000;">Since that letter I have taken notice of just how much Madie loves her Dolls and how very motherly she is with them. I think it was all that turkey....it must have stayed in my system a little too long and made me sleepy!Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-78801427274914933732008-12-03T22:14:00.000-08:002008-12-03T23:02:58.825-08:00ThanksgivingI can't believe how fast this year has flown by! This year for Thanksgiving the whole family was in town, except for my sister-in-law Zita ( Who we missed dearly). It was so much fun to have all 11 cousins running around and all the adults playing Guitar Hero. We ate yummy food and just enjoyed each others company. Being with all of my family reminds me just how much I have to be grateful for, I am <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">truly</span> blessed. We were able to get a quick shot of all the kids since it's not often that we are all together. Now for the countdown to Christmas.....<br /><br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275816723899931154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxoJEbtm7DpxWvRji1YEbc1Ry7bUIHb41nJmA0pCkBm9lv553Y4cv1wcpuuZ30XqB8v342DGFvQaqW96BZhQImwQ-LlBVJ92DRbI1_1K5rn7xuUfNlmvzyqn1kurTLEfJNOU9oILHd98sr/s320/Grandkids.jpg" border="0" /></p><br /><p>I also got to go out and take some pictures of my brother Jared and his family. It was just a quick 20 minute session before we ate our turkey, but I think they turned out really cute so here is a preview for Rachel who hasn't seen them yet.</p><p> </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275825772384810402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1KTjq9MHByQLsMNOXgWWgbFMje-m15mOp4auj-P4PRPXHM9E_QZQ3SoqZ4aGdCv0ku4pkfQXOsBsR3Y-KjryjQhsXlg8dKgu3ADsaD4YbDInWYQ_pn_aqGwzutIx01cMFEa7tL8HaOoeG/s320/DeWoody8.jpg" border="0" /></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p> </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275825767414161010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcyXsiWnoTY7pc5ecn1dwzw1AHp60aWeDcTDvDkAzs1nYta-8zMVgC5zQuKGqAaL0lYAlOOFoDqq0sBdhqQGo5MVZNOFtBvaposxOkMw2wKrLkB1N8FCZCVPspFJA7LtFGESZFjiDRiACh/s320/DeWoody7.jpg" border="0" /></p><p> </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275825762779188274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGdadGT5qGY7VchcnfvI4a5wHGd73CjaIZSiQzV39xhCQXubjAC3cFbCyFcDZkaFzhNctxj-Xrepl5PcelvOh72psISrHbSTPy5Uxmu_mpM93UmVco3gNH_Vwk2KO42E64n_fdsygaILsF/s320/DeWoody6.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275824697565406882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0_3sdP0x5EXim5yXp9ycqsGM8rHt728WIuN_Ei1C75aeIiqoUS6zCLxiqAD956hdk7XVRMwP87FWtdhYAUeAn4kRJT0tkQwneu69YB4nd6TwUwVE9cDYDomSOJ_S9AXpifKwUBguigH9S/s320/DeWoody5.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275824700686249314" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRKRaBcWD8AJ2-Ei7ZODIbn1I0mKgrFfLpCqITep4nCHgkI0f3NKStyqasJygxP404weWstU2hrtL96aA3SUmQWsCbU907k6efE5yS2CCj7Oo9VSyWHDR-gIft3HSLkgamRo2kHn2Mhver/s320/DeWoody4.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275824693965998658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB0ETSeCpPVg9zRxSYxjU0-3k-sbhGFrLG70o0k5_9qvVixHczj2iPxYmgHwQ5w-ISgnbWzVJuaSNMTMD7Da0dzfRJ57asTrwpUf492fD9Q8osPFmg9SZOVSGK_DAy_P38tde2Dc92mAyD/s320/DeWoody3.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275824687357256130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguhGdkkcgIC4ms8pjzOQyXTbpIx7wkITK0UY3QLzxYizX92QjPjnCm1DTFzmtjg1ksrGYQnHp2Fn151q3cIWtBGZyQbWaTCxeizx9i3jTyW8H7PRHb_h32SCY1m0-ui1FnsIjjhvJfP4sk/s320/DeWoody2.jpg" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275824682544236306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbZwIHNF6QTvjwdSm8Zmfk3xE82j0LXbH_2Nlc7NEWU42Ut70-6pWX79xkDHgy1BkqISbIcczePsilKBRbNl2SuS_EACyYOtZjszFGEtguV111UNHzB4YCFV8zmcXYN-2KAi_LEebOA5B5/s320/DeWoody1.jpg" border="0" /></p>Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-57954527702157971672008-12-03T16:24:00.000-08:002008-12-03T22:36:00.242-08:00Taking pictures...As some of you know, my husband is a photographer. Well I on occasion, take pictures as well, and I love it!! I'm not that good, and don't have any professional training, but I do it anyway (for who ever will let me). Here are some pics I took of the Bowen Family out at <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Woodward</span> park. I hope they don't mind me putting some of their pics for everyone to see.....they are so cute.<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275731081608337506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; Don't ask me what changed, I just think I knew what to expect the second time around, and the things I thought were weird the first time weren't weird at all the second time....go figure!! So my Mom went out of town to visit my sister for 5 days and while she was gone, what do you know her computer crashed!! It would turn on, but would just run and rerun through the process of trying to start windows. I wasn't very happy because I was sure it was due to the fact that my kids play these games on it, and I'm not always the most attentive mother when <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Madie</span> starts pushing a million buttons. The kids were pretty upset too because my mom had gotten some new games for them to play. Well we tried relentlessly to fix it to no avail, and I ended up having to tell my mom what happened when she got home.<br /><br />Of course even still we all held out hope that we could somehow fix it on our own without the help of an expensive computer tech, and yet again we failed. We had pretty much given up hope and for some <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">reason</span> ended up leaving the computer on all night. Little did we know that the computer somehow fixed itself in the night during one of its start up cycles. Well when Logan woke up the next morning, he happened upon this wonderful <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">occurrence</span> of the computer working again, and in his most excited voice yelled......"Grandma, Grandma, the computer is fixed......it's a MIRACLE!!"<br /><br />So I ask the question to you all...what really constitutes a miracle? I guess anything you want, but to my 4 year old, it is the fact that the computer is fixed!Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-41015406205769593992008-11-19T13:55:00.000-08:002008-11-19T15:41:01.377-08:00Having fun at the zoo...So last week Logan had a couple of days off from school and a few of our friends decided it would be fun to go to the ever exciting <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Chaffee</span> Zoo. Yes it is a modest zoo, but it's cheap and lots of fun to a 4 and 2 year old. We were able to go with the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Bowens</span> and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Tringalis</span>. I didn't get that many pictures because I had decided last minute that I didn't want to lug around our big fancy camera and get really good pictures, but instead settled for my moms point and shoot camera that had little battery life left. And what do you know, the camera dies on me about an hour after we got there....oh well. The funniest part about it is that I am more comfortable using our 6 lb. professional camera than I am a little point and shoot. <div><div><div><div><div><br /></div><div>It is so much fun to see my kids growing up so fast and making such good friends. I just can't believe how fast time flies, before I know it my kids will be teenagers and will be doing things like driving and dating.....SCARY!! Hopefully I will be able to enjoy each stage as they come and not rush them to grow up....as tempting as it is sometimes!</div><div></div><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270505529705436066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZr9ZlLp2ULvHYZE8GHi4mbVDU1lK7BBBvhtHbZxOY18tdwsTErrJM3sNkTO3eanf4y8EUwkVROka3hryxu62QOI7ZmftWBDqyg5alKfH9AfHLuTuw_YdUNseSs_vaEsceNkwy_rjcFent/s320/Zoo6.jpg" border="0" />Such fascination in their eyes!! First off, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Madie</span> was being <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">stubborn</span> and wouldn't sit next to anyone even though Mia was trying to include her. Second, Logan was taking advantage of the fact that he was one of the two boys around all the cute girls (there were two other very cute boys, but they are only 3 and 4 months old). Look at him with his arms around Brooklyn and Ella.....if he could have, I'm sure he would have grown an extra arm to put around Mia too.Stephanie Ryanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13650089005933568239noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806088289066452763.post-85585293025520861232008-11-11T22:05:00.000-08:002008-11-11T22:07:42.647-08:00Kevin's resultsOkay don't laugh, but kevin is......<br /><br /><a href="http://twilightersanonymous.com/quizzes/which-male-twilight-character-are-you.html" title="Which Twilight Male Are You?
